Who it is for
Businesses and service organisations that message their customers.
Anyone who needs to send one-time passwords, payment alerts, appointment reminders or service updates.
Developers.
Teams that want to send messages from their own application through an API, and receive delivery status and replies back in their own systems.
Organisations with several teams or branches.
Each team can have its own users, senders and templates, under one account.
What it does
SMS and WhatsApp in one place.
Send on either channel from the same dashboard or the same API.
Approved senders and templates.
Messages your business starts go out only from an approved sender and an approved template, so what reaches your customers is what you agreed in advance.
One message or many.
Send a single message, or many at once from your application or from a CSV file uploaded in the dashboard.
Delivery status and replies.
See what was delivered and what failed, read customer replies, and have both sent to your own systems through signed webhooks.
Consent and opt-outs.
Keep a record of who agreed to receive messages and who opted out, for each channel. Getting consent stays your organisation’s responsibility.
Credits, logs and reports.
Prepaid credits with a running statement, a log of every message, and reports for your team.
How it works
Set up your account.
Your organisation’s account is activated, and the sender IDs and message templates you have registered are checked before they can be used. You add prepaid credits.
Connect your systems.
Create API keys for your applications, or send straight from the dashboard. Each key is limited to what it needs to do.
Send and follow up.
Messages go out on the channel you choose. Delivery updates and replies come back to your dashboard and to your webhooks.
How compliance works with ComGate
We are a software company, not a telecom operator. SMS and similar messages are carried by telecom service providers authorised to do so, and the sender and template registrations those channels require are held by the organisation sending the messages.
For each SMS template, ComGate stores the sender ID, template ID and category from your organisation’s own registration with its telecom provider, and records them against each message it sends. WhatsApp messages that start a conversation use approved message templates.
Questions
Does LEDZO hold a telecom licence or a DLT registration?
No. We are a software company, not a telecom operator, and we do not hold a telecom authorisation or a DLT registration. Messages are carried by telecom service providers authorised to do so. The sender and template registrations those channels require are held by your organisation, and ComGate attaches their details to your messages.
Can ComGate send promotional campaigns?
ComGate is built for transactional and service messages, such as one-time passwords, alerts, reminders and service updates, sent from approved templates.
Can we connect ComGate to our own software?
Yes. Your developers can send messages through the API using API keys you create, and receive delivery updates and replies through webhooks.
Can ComGate carry our own brand?
Yes. ComGate can run on your own web address with your organisation’s name on its screens. We will confirm which screens and messages this covers when we reply.
How much does it cost, and how do we start?
Write to us with the channels you need and roughly how many messages you send. We will reply to discuss what you need.
